Quinn enters permanent administration
Quinn Group drops opposition to administration
In the High Court today Mr Justice Nicholas Kearns said the administrators would take full charge of the business after the Quinn Group dropped its opposition to the move. The group has been banned from writing business in the UK, and the uncertainty over its operations in Ireland has been damaging business.
Grant Thornton's Paul McCann and Michael McAteer have become full time administrators.
