I’ll hazard a guess that very few people working in insurance can claim to have deliberately chosen this path but have enjoyed an insurance career as a kind of happy accident. That’s certainly the case for me. I can’t help feeling that this is largely because this industry has a challenge with image. This is despite the huge amount of innovation going on to make insurance more than something we buy once a year, forget about until the unexpected happens and we need insurance to put things right
