Towergate increases South Western presence with acquisitions
Towergate Insurance has acquired Centenary Insurance and William Rogers Insurance Brokers.
Bristol-based Centenary deals mainly with haulage business clients in the South West of England.
Mark Boyd, previously director at Centenary, has been appointed sales director for the South and will report to Larry Smith, managing director of Towergate’s commercial motor division.
Penzance-based William Rogers offers both commercial and personal lines broking services.
Its director Andrew Morehen will stay at the helm of the business which is to become a new site for Towergate’s South West

FSCS gives first insight on increasing levy to £394m
