QBE makes double promotion with director appointments

New leadership announced for UK & Ireland motor and casualty units.

QBE has made two senior leadership appointments within its UK & Ireland business unit.

Matt Lacy has been named director of casualty. He has worked at QBE European Operations since 2002 and most recently managed its London Market casualty portfolio.

Talbir Bains has been appointed as director of motor and business performance (retail), and will take on leadership of QBE European Operations motor portfolio.

Bains has been with the provider since 2004. In his new role, he will retain
