Post tax profits double at Green Insurance Brokers

Broker reports rises in turnover and operating profit.

East Sussex-based Green Insurance Brokers has posted a 117% increase in profits after tax from £276,678 in 2014 to £600,772 in 2015.

The figures for the year to 31 March 2015 showed an increase in turnover of 11% to £4.47m (2014: £4.02m).

The numbers filed at Companies House also revealed a 38% jump in operating profit to £1.24m (2014: £902,287).

The results were for the first full year since the business' investment deal with Peter Callum-backed Minority Venture Partners (MVP) in January 2014.
