Bluefin completes four purchases
Consolidator buys in Liverpool and adds to offices in Stockton and Forfar.
Bluefin Insurance has bought Liverpool-based Exchange Insurance Services, its fourth deal of the year.
The purchase of the commercial insurance broker has given Bluefin a second office in the city.
In addition Bluefin detailed that it has acquired Alverton Insurance Brokers, Wilbourn Insurance Services and Grampian Insurance.
Staff
The staff from Alverton have moved to Bluefin's Stockton branch while the teams from Wilbourn and Grampian have joined Bluefin's existing office in Forfar.

FSCS gives first insight on increasing levy to £394m
The Financial Services Compensation Scheme has indicated its levy for 2025/26 will rise to £394m from £265m this financial year as it cited having lower surpluses to carry forward and offset bills – a factor that has benefited brokers for two years in a row.
