Towergate reveals capacity deals with Brit and Allianz
Towergate Commercial Underwriting (TCU) has announced a five-year capacity deal with Allianz providing 70% and Brit the remaining 30%.
The deal brings the number of insurers in the TCU consortium down from five - RSA, Aviva, Ageas and NIG are no longer providing capacity, although a spokesman for Towergate said the broker would continue to do business with all four in other areas of the business.
Allianz continues to lead TCU’s insurer consortium, and has almost doubled its share, which previously stood at 40%.
