Royal recognition for Acturis
Technology provider Acturis has been awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation.
Acturis received the award in recognition of its achievements in designing and implement cloud computing based system software for the commercial insurance market in the UK.
The service provider highlighted that when it started trading in 2000 less than 1% of commercial insurance were electronically underwritten and processed whereas now 36% of policies on its system are traded electronically.

FSCS gives first insight on increasing levy to £394m
