September was a funny old month for news. We should have exited silly season by then but the nationals (and Twitter) had a positively gleeful time reporting on an alleged university encounter between Prime Minister David Cameron and a pig.
In insurance we had some equally meaty stories, admittedly somewhat different in nature. Top of the list was the announcement that Zurich had decided against buying RSA.
