McManus: Sarkozy resignation does not impact PIB

PIB boss says more deals are in the pipeline as consolidation push continues.

PIB Insurance Brokers will not be affected by the resignation of Olivier Sarkozy from private equity group Carlyle, according to group CEO Brendan McManus.

"We were aware that Olivier was leaving," McManus confirmed to Insurance Age.

"It will have no impact on PIB whatsoever. Our sponsors in that particular fund are still there and are supporting us day by day."

Sarkozy, the half-brother of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, was managing director and head of the Global Financial Services
