Further cuts at Tesco Compare
The majority of staff at Tesco Compare's Redhill base have been put on redundancy notice raising questions over the aggregator's future.
Insurance Age understands that the IT, finance and administration teams, around 20 individuals, have been put on 30 days' notice leaving only a skeletal staff made up mainly of 'relationship managers'.
Refusing to comment specifically on the situation, a spokeswoman for Tesco Compare said: "We are committed to developing and growing the Tesco Compare business and have recently invested in a new platform and website infrastructure to deliver further improvements to the benefit of our customers.
"
